Cypress Cove Marina is located on the fresh water Scuppernong River only 15 miles west of the
Intracoastal Waterway, allowing for convenient boating access to the Albemarle Sound and the
Atlantic Ocean.
Situated in Tyrrell County, we are connected to the historic town of Columbia and are very accessible
by land or sea. The Albemarle Sound ranks as one of North Carolina's East Coast boating hot spots and has received
rave reviews in a number of boating magazines. Our marina's location, on the Scuppernong River, protects boaters from adverse weather, yet provides
easy access to NC sounds and ICW. In fact, the marina is very well protected from hurricanes. All
channels are welllmarked and the waters are clean and barnacle free.
